Hawkesbury City Soccer Club was formed in 1975, as the then called Hawkesbury District Soccer Club, with the aim of providing the best level of soccer to the Hawkesbury area. The club has progressed significantly since 1975 and now fields senior sides in the NSW State Conference League North which comprises of 1st Grade and reserve grade sides. A major focus at Hawkesbury City is the development of local junior soccer talent. 
Hawkesbury City Soccer club boasts one of the best fields in the State League 2nd Division. Situated at Bensons Lane in Richmond, it comprises of a fully fenced playing field, 1500 seat grandstand, lighting for night games and warm-up fields
